Musical biographical drama of Ray Charles, who was born in
a poor Georgia town, and went blind when he was seven-years-old, shortly after
witnessing his younger brother's death. The story recounts his battles with
heroin addiction and against segregation, as well as his innovations with
gospel, country, jazz and orchestral music. Jamie Foxx stars in the title role.
