An homage of sorts to the 1936 Frank Capra classic "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town": Longfellow Deeds (Adam Sandler) lives in Mandrake Falls, NH, and owns and operates a pizza restaurant, while dreaming that Hallmark Cards will one day buy one of his greeting cards. Enter a long-lost, dead billionaire uncle, who has named Deeds as his sole heir. Deeds now has the opportunity to inject his small town simple values into the various inherited businesses.
