The true story of coach Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell) who,
during the contentious 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid -- and despite
overwhelming odds -- led the U.S. hockey team to victory against the highly
regarded USSR team. The victory was seen as a triumph of democracy over
communism. Also with Eddie Cahill, Patricia Clarkson, Noah Emmerich and Patrick
O'Brien Demsey. Directed by Gavin O'Connor. [2:15 - PG]
