The first volume of this Quentin Tarantino film concerns a
group of skilled assassins called Deadly Viper Assassination Squad that turn on
one of their own (Uma Thurman) when she decides to quit, get married and have a
family. Leaving her for dead, she comes out of a coma four years later and seeks
revenge against her former colleagues (Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, Vivica A. Fox
and Michael Madsen) and their boss, Bill (David Carradine). Also with Michael
