A bright young woman (Michelle Trachtenberg) is entering
her senior year of high school, thinking she has her life all planned out:
pressured by her strong-willed mother (Joan Cusack), she's working on a Physics
project and is on the fast track to Harvard University. But then she discovers
that she is a very gifted figure skater -- and that's where her passion really
