A young woman (Katie Holmes) struggles with her own
identity when it comes time for her to go off to college and leave her family.
That may seem normal for any young person, but what makes her situation slightly
more difficult is that her father is the President of the United States (Michael
Keaton) and he is on the campaign trail running for re-election. When she
demands not to be followed by Secret Service agents everywhere she goes, her
father seemingly agrees. However, he assigns an agent disguised as a student to
protect her, and the two soon fall in love. Also with Marc Blucas, Margaret
