While historical records indicate that Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled to the island prison of St. Helena where he eventually died in 1821, this film relates an alternate course of
events: Ian Holm plays both Napoleon and a man who resembles the emperor and take his place in prison. The real Napoleon becomes a sailor on a ship bound for France where he hopes to regain his
